Points are lovely deep purple and fairly clean for smaller stones. The best types of design for Amethyst of this depth of colour are the brilliants, eg. trillion, pear, cushion, oval. Photo no. 4 shows a stone cut from this parcel. Veiling is evident as is some colour zoning, but clever cutting should produce some reasonable gems.
